Watts Gallery

I visited the Watts Gallery today. I didn’t know much about the man, but it turned out to be quite interesting knowledge. His work was mostly done for Victorian nobility, and he was very famous for it, so much so that he could even turn down royal figures for portraits. He eventually took on sculpting using horse hair and plaster over a wire frame, in addition to clay sculpts.

I actually found the entire gallery quite interesting. It gave me a lot of inspiration and insight into art, and I’m really impressed with this piece.

I also found this writing to be really helpful to me.
